Incoming - Exchange Students
Take part in an exchange program
Are you a student at a non-German university and would like to study for one or two semesters a Berlin University of Applied Sciences? In this case, we will be your point of contact during your stay in Berlin.
Nomination
The nomination deadline for exchange students is
- May 1 for the winter semester (starts 2nd week of September) and
- November 1 for the spring semester (starts 2nd week of March).
We recommend a German level of B1 in order to follow classes.
If you intend to attend courses EXCLUSIVELY in English, we recommend English proficiency at the B1 level.
Application Procedure
The International Office of your home university has to send by E-mail to incoming[at]bht-berlin.de the list of students selected to come to our university within the ERASMUS or bilateral exchange program. This list must contain the following information:
- full name of student
- student's e-mail address
- sex and nationality
- place and date of birth
- field and level of studies
- period of stay (1st semester, 2nd semester or academic year)
Once we have received this information each nominated student will receive the application forms and information by e-mail.
Become a degree seeking student at BHT
Foreign students who would like to become a degree seeking student at BHT can apply at the Studienverwaltung.
