On Saturday, 20 September 2025, the European Space Agency (ESA) and the German Space Agency (DLR-RFA) are opening their doors in Cologne for a one-of-a-kind career event which will welcome 600+ selected attendees.
Whether someone is studying or has recently graduated in engineering, business, science, or software, this event is a chance to:
- Meet ESA astronauts and hear first-hand what it's like to live and work in space
- Tour cutting-edge facilities like the European Astronaut Centre and a simulated lunar surface
- Attend career talks, workshops, and panels with insiders from ESA and DLR
- Experience VR training simulations and explore real missions in development
- Get personalised career advice directly from engineers and mission experts, as well as hints and tips from recruiters.

Important: Due to security requirements on the DLR site, all participants must present a valid official photo ID (ID card or passport) from an EU or ESA member state upon arrival.
Please note that participation is subject to a standard verification process. We must emphasise that due to current security requirements, only persons who are either nationals of an EU member state or an ESA member state are eligible to participate.
