BIM EN

Building Information Modeling with Revit Software (English)

Building Information Modeling (BIM) digitally captures and connects all essential information about a construction project in a central model.

Everyone involved in the project has access to the latest plans, can simulate design alternatives, compare solutions, and collaborate efficiently throughout the planning and construction process.

BIM is increasingly established across the construction industry and already a mandatory requirement for many public procurement projects in a growing number of countries.

Gain a practical introduction to the principles of this innovative planning methodology!

This course provides the practical knowledge required to work with BIM, including its applications as well as the relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards.

Immediately apply what you've learned through practical exercises!

As part of a virtual project team, you will use Autodesk Revit to:

  • Create floor plans, model walls and windows, define roofs, and design building façades.
  • Perform clash detection to identify and resolve conflicts between building components and disciplines.
  • Develop and present design concepts, produce 2D documentation, and export project documentation for further use.
Duration 7 weeks
Start Annually in October
